The Oconomowoc and Lake Country Museum has in its archival collection documents pertaining to the city of Oconomowoc and the outlying areas we call the “lake country”. They include Delafield, Hartland, Ashippun, Village of Oconomowoc Lake, Village of Lac LaBelle, Ixonia, Summit, Nashotah, Dousman, Monterey, Mapleton and Okauchee.  Most of the materials are from Oconomowoc and Summit. 

 

Email us with your inquiries but please be aware that we will need to charge a research fee in some cases and duplication fees.  We do not have the staff to do extensive research but will happily give you suggestions on where to find information.
