Quarterly Meeting
Minutes
January 28, 2006
The Quarterly meeting of the Oconomowoc Historical Society
was called to order at 10:03am by President Ed Johnson at the Oconomowoc
Memorial Hospital Conference Room. Approximately 100 people were in attendance.
Secretary’s Report:
- President
Ed Johnson asked for a motion to dispense with the reading of the October
29, 2005 Quarterly meeting minutes. Motion approved. Motion to approve the
October 29, 2005 Quarterly Meeting minutes was made. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report:
- John
Fishleigh stated we were off to a good start as of November 1, 2005, but could still use additional
help from members and community donors. Anyone wishing to see the
Treasurer’s report should see John after the program.
Fund Raising:
- Dorothy
St. Thomas reported OHS has received 85 contributions so far for a total
of $15,800. Thank you to those who have contributed thus far. Those
contributing $100 or more can pick up their DVD at 1st Bank
Financial Center.
Membership:
- Barbara
Elwood-Goetsch is taking renewals today. Cost remains $12 for seniors or
$24 for senior couple, and $15 for individual membership and $30 for a couple.
To date we have 338 members who have renewed their memberships and one new
member for a total of 339.
Operations:
- Museum
will reopen on the first Friday of May. No new exhibits this year, but a
fire safety component has been added to the current fire exhibit.
- Munger
Photo Studio has been added to the downtown Oconomowoc exhibit
Meeting adjourned at 10:15am.
